Serial killer Charles Lee Ray is back! This time his girlfriend Tiffany has revived him, once again in the form of the popular "Chucky" doll. Shortly after the "happy" couple's reunion, Chucky kills her and brings her back in the form of a girl's bridal doll. The two then embark on a killing spree en route to dig up Ray's corpse, which was buried with a Satanic voodoo charm capable of bringing back the dead.
Review
I'm not a big fan of horrors, but I do like a good comedy and this film is enough of the latter to make it a good film, because this is basically a parody of the Child Play movies that have gone before it.
Gordon plays the gay friend of the two high school sweet hearts, who helps them get past the scrutiny of the girls very strict uncle, who also happens to be the local law enforcement. The best moments of this film, and maybe I'm a little bias, is when Dave begins to suspect that his friends are not as innocent as he believed and discovers the dead body in the van. What follows on from here is great stuff, and almost legendary as the most splatted moment in movie history (surely no one has splatted better?).
This movie is almost certainly worth watching, with the excellant Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky and John Ritter as the evil uncle, the script is really sharp and at no point does it seem to take itself too seriously!
